Brentwood Bay Squadron 2012 Cruising Calendar
	May 12th & 13th – 2nd Annual Ron Harris Memorial Cruise - click for more details An opportunity for first timers to experience the Victoria Harbour and for experienced boaters to kick off the boating season! Cruise with 10-20 other boats from Sidney to Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbor. We will dock on the Causeway in front of the Empress Hotel on Saturday night. You must pre-register before April 30th - all Canadian Power Squadron members are welcome so pass it on. Costs will include reservation, mooring and shore power. Contact Janice Hayward
	June 16th to 18th - Salt Spring Island 360 For the first time we are going to circumnavigate Saltspring Island as a group. We will leave Sidney and our first overnight will be Thetis Island Marina, Telegraph Harbour; our second overnight will be Montague where you can hook a mooring buoy, drop the anchor or tie up at the dock, and then its back to Sidney. You must pre-register before May 31st. Costs will include moorage (dock or mooring buoy) and shore power. All Canadian Power Squadron members welcome so pass it on! Contact Janice Hayward
	July 13th to 15th – Annual Pig War - click for more details For great food and uncontrollable laughter come on out to Port Browning - it is here we will greet Friday Harbour Power Squadron from the U.S. This is an age old tradition where our two squadrons alternate hosting the Pig War. Meet and greet on Friday night with pot luck appies; Brentwood Bay vs. Friday Harbour games on Saturday afternoon; Saturday pig roast buffet hosted by Brentwood Bay Squadron. 	August 11th to 20th – Annual Desolation Sound Armada Want to cruise beyond your comfort zone? Why not go with seasoned Desolation Sound cruisers! An itinerary will be developed and followed as weather and moorage permits. You may join in and depart to suit your schedule. Favourite spots include: Tenedos Bay Walsh Cove Squirrel Cove Melanie Cove We take into consideration fuel and water needs of the smaller boats in our Armada! You are guaranteed to have a good time and a lot of laughs. Please pre-register with Janice Hayward
	September 8th & 9th – Poet’s Cove Breakwater Dock Visit the renowned Poet's Cove resort! We will stay at the breakwater dock for a fraction of the price! Or, if you prefer, anchor at nearby Bedwell Marine Park. We will pot luck on Saturday night - bring your bathers to use the hot tub and pool at Poet's Cove. Note the breakwater does not have power.
